Itinerary of Ziro Music Festival Tour
Day 1: 24th Sep, 2025 (Wednesday): Tour Starts from Guwahati (At 10:30 PM)
The tour begins at Guwahati Railway Station. Plan to reach Guwahati by afternoon so that you have ample time to relax before the tour begins. This also helps in case there are flight delays. If needed, we can provide you with a stay to rest and chill on this day. All guests are requested to be at the railway station by 10:30 pm. You will be taking an overnight journey to the Ziro's nearest railway station.
Day 2: 25th Sep, 2025 (Thursday): Railway Station - Ziro
You will reach the railway station closest to Ziro very early in the morning. Our vehicle will be present there to welcome you. We will start our drive towards the beautiful town of Ziro. It will take approximately 3 hours to cover the distance. We will reach campsite at Ziro in the afternoon. It is time for relaxing in your pre arranged tent and freshen up before we start an exciting evening.
Day 3: 26th Sep, 2025 (Friday): Ziro
Witness a beautiful sunrise, much earlier than the usual times. Because, you are in the land of rising sun! The greenery of this beautiful village will surely surprise you. Spend the day by walking in this beautiful village. Later we will visit the venue of music festival. Time to enjoy a lot of music, have food, drinks and lots of fun! In the evening, we will also have Jamming session in our campsite by some local singers accompanying us throughout our journey. Be prepared, the night is young!
Day 4: 27th Sep, 2025 (Saturday): Ziro
Today, we will take you to a walk through the Apatani way of life. A cup of tea along with some snacks in addition while you site and chitchat inside a traditional Apatani house. And then, it is yet another day to catch up with the events of the festival, enjoy the performances and comeback whenever you feel like to your campsite. You can also have jam sessions and witness thrilling performances with the local musicians at the camp site!
Day 5: 28th Sep, 2025 (Sunday): Ziro
Today is the last day of the festival. And as usual, the best is kept for the last. Immerse yourself with the events of the festival here. The camp will be full of throttle experiences. Head to the festival at 1 pm and party into the night. Our camp will wait for you to come back and a Gala for the final night and never forgetting experiences awaits you.
Day 6: 29th Sep, 2025 (Monday): Ziro - Railway Station
After the fun filled days at Ziro, the biggest music festival in India, it is now time to bid good bye to this awesome place. We will check out after breakfast and start our journey towards the railway station. In the evening, we will catch the train for an overnight journey to Guwahati.
Day 7: 30th Sep, 2025: Guwahati Railway Station
Reach Guwahati Railway station at 6 AM. Your tour to Ziro Festival of Music ends here.

How to reach Ziro?
The nearest commercial airport is Guwahati or Dibrugarh. You can fly to any of these locations, and reach Ziro by road. Vehicles can be hired from Guwahati, Dibrugarh or Tezpur to reach Ziro. However, due to the sudden inflow of people during the festival, there may not be enough vehicles to make last minute arrangements. If you are planning to visit, please reserve your seats early.
The airport at Itanagar is also functional during the festival season. In fact, Ziro also has an airport and is connected from Guwahati. However, the flights are not frequent, and are subject to cancellation depending on the number of people who booked it.

What permits are needed to attend the festival?
To enter Arunachal Pradesh, you need to apply for Inner Line Permit (ILP) or Protected Area Permit (PAP). You can enter the state only if your ILP application is approved.
