Apart from its natural attraction, the caves also have inscriptions that are dated 8000 years ago! Yes, some of them are dated around Indus Valley Civilization, and even Harappan civilisation. Soochippara Falls

Soochippara Falls is a beautiful waterfalls that is located 25 km from the town of Kalpetta. The water here cascades down 200m, and is an awesome sight to look out for. You can also take a dip at the pool that is formed at base of the falls.

Muthunga Wildlife Sanctuary

This region has a lot of wildlife sanctuaries. While the region is close to border of three different states (Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu), it is once single forest for the wilds living here. While most of the forest region is part of neighbouring Karnataka, Muthunga also has a small share and is home to a variety of wild animals and birds.
