Itinerary for Sikkim Delight / Pelling Gangtok Tour

Day 1: Arrive Siliguri / Bagdogra / New Jalpaiguri – Namchi – Ravangla

We start an amazing trip by arriving at Siliguri early in the day. The nearest airport is Bagdogra, and railway station in New Jalpaiguri. After arrival, we drive to Namchi (3 hours). Namchi is popular for Char Dham Temple, which has a replica of all the for Dhams of India (Badrinath, Puri, Dwaraka and Rameshwaram). In addition to this, it also has replica of the 12 Jyotirlings of India. The beautiful Char Dham Temple is surrounded by natural beauty of the mountains around. Later in the day, we will visit Samdruptse. This beautiful hill has a huge statue of Guru Padmasambhava, over looking the valley of Namchi. Later we drive to Ravangla, check-in to a homestay and relax for the night.

Day 2: Ravangla – Pelling

Ravangla is popular for Buddha Park. The early morning views of Buddha Park with the backdrop of Kanchenjunga mountain ranges is one of the highlights of this place. The early morning sun rays illuminates the snow clad Kanchenjunga ranges, as well as brightens the huge statue of Buddha. We will visit Buddha Pak early in the morning. Later we will drive to Rabdentse where we will enjoy the views of beautiful mountain ranges and visit the ruins of ernstwhile palaces of Kingdom of Sikkim. These palaces were build during early 16th Century, but were destroyed later. We will later drive to Pelling, check-in to a hotel/homestay and relax. In the evening, we will visit the first Glass Bottom Skywalk of India. Witnessing the sunset from here, along with visiting the statue of Sangachuling and the views of Kanchenjunga ranges makes it a perfect evening.

Day 3: Pelling

Today we will start our day by witnessing beautiful sunrise from the helipad. Later in the day, we will explore the beautiful places in and around Pelling. Kanchenjunga Falls, Kechopalri Lake, Rimbi Falls are some of the places that are covered today.

Day 4: Pelling – Gangtok

Today, we leave the beautiful Pelling, and move to the capital city Gangtok. On the way, we will visit Temi Tea Gardens. In the evening, we will explore the town of Gangtok.

Day 5: Gangtok – Tsongmo Lake – Nathula Pass – Gangtok

We will visit yet another high altitude destination today. Tsongmo Lake or Changu Lake is located at an altitude of 11000 ft above sea level. This beautiful lake looks different from different view points and cannot fail to impress with each view. Later, we will drive to Nathula Pass, which is located at 14000 ft above sea level. This pass is the trading border between India and China. You can go close to the border, and watch the gates of India and China. Later, we will drive back to Gangtok.

Day 6: Gangtok – Siliguri

Today is the last day of this trip. We will leave Gangtok and drop you to New Jalpaiguri railway station or Bagdogra airport. That brings an end to this awesome Sikkim Tour that you always wanted to take.
