Kemmangundi is a small hill station that is located at around 50 km from Chikmagalur. It may be a small place, but it has no shortage of natural beauty. During monsoon, you can actually walk through the clouds here, and during other seasons, it provides some awesome views of the surrounding villages. The trek/walk to Z-Point is the highlight of the visit to Kemmangundi, and a visit to Kalhatti Falls is a beautiful addition.

Hebbe Falls

Chikmagalur has no shortage of waterfalls. While we already cover Jhari Falls in the trip, a visit to Hebbe Falls would be a pleasant surprise. While it is difficult to choose one falls over the other, the 8-10 km jeep ride to this falls that is located amidst thick forests is perhaps the most adventurous part of this trip.
