Talakaveri

Talakaveri is the birth place of River Cauvery. Apart from the temple at Talakaveri, you can also climb 300 steps to Brahmagiri hill to get a glimpse of the dense forests of Western Ghats. Moreover, on a clear day, you even get to see the Arabian Sea which is more than 100 km away!

Irupu Falls

Irupu Falls or Irpu Falls is a beautiful 2 step waterfalls that is located close to Nagarhole National Park. The small walk through the forests to reach the falls makes it even more exciting. The falls is a perfect place if you want to get under the falls and take a dip.

Nagarhole National Park

Nagarhole is a Tiger Reserve, and has a dense population of Tigers. If you are a wildlife enthusiast, a jeep safari at Nagarhole should be definitely on your list. Apart from the tigers, you can also find leopards, elephants, spotted deers, sambar deers, dhole (wild dog), Indian Bison among many other animals.

Day 2

  • Morning visit Omkareshwar Temple
  • Visit Madikeri Fort, Raja’ Seat, Abbey Falls
  • Later vist Irupu Falls
  • Visit Nagarhole National Park
  • Back to hotel/homestay at Madikeri

Day 3

  • After breakfast, visit Talacauvery
  • Hike up to Brahmagiri Hill (300+ steps)
  • Visit Bhagamandala Temple, and Sangama, confluence point of 3 rivers
  • Drive back to Mangalore as the exciting tour comes to an end
