Itinerary of Shimla Manali Tour

Day 1: Chandigarh – Shimla

Arrive at Chandigarh airport or railway station. Our representative will meet you and drive you to Shimla. In the evening, spend some time at The Ridge watching a beautiful sunset and very well lit valley on the other side. The illuminated church is sure to catch your eye. If you are interested in Shopping, then you are just few steps away from Mall Road. Get indulged in shopping the very first day!

Day 2: Shimla Sightseeing

After breakfast, we will drive to Kufri, the most popular place in Shima, and a truly picturesque place. The one hour drive passes through many scenic locations and we are sure you would want to take stops to click some awesome photographs. From the parking lot, Kufri is accessible by foot or by pony ride (extra cost). If you visit here during snow time, you can try skiing and other snow sports here. After spending an adventurous time here, we move on to next destination in Shimla, Jakhoo Temple. The temple is located on a hill top with a giant statue of Lord Hanuman overlooking Shimla. The statue is visible from a great distance and is a very popular landmark. Look our for monkeys trying to grab your handbags, eateries and other items. Later, you can visit other places of interest in Shimla like Annadale, Summer Hill, Lakkar Bazaar etc). After a long day, it is time to go back to hotel and relax.

Day 3: Shimla – Manali

Today, after breakfast, we will checkout from hotel and drive towards Manali. This is yet another beautiful drive of 8 hours. You will be passing through Pandoh Dam, a huge mountain tunnel next to River Beas. You will pass through Kullu which is famous for adventure sports like paragliding, river rafting an so on. If you are interested, you can take a stop here and enjoy the adventure activities. Later, drive to Manali, check-in to a hotel and relax.

Day 4: Manali Sightseeing

Manali is a small town that is surrounded by tall hills on all the sides. River Beas flows gently here, and is a favourite place to just chill and relax. We will be starting our day by spending some time here. Later, we can visit Solang Valley which is popular for winter sports (zorbing, paragliding, snow slide, skiing and many others). Later you can visit Hidimba temple, Gatotgach temple, Van Vihar, Vashisht Temple and Hot Springs, Manu Temple, Buddhist Monastery and many other places. You can also go for shopping at Mall Road.

Day 5: Manali – Naggar – Kasol – Manikaran – Manali

This is going to be yet another beautiful day. We start our day by visiting Naggar Castle, that became popular after the movie ‘Jab We Met’ was filmed here. The huge castle is going to astonish you with the amazing architecture. Later, we drive to little Israel, Kasol. Kasol is popular for its natural beauty and amazing cafes. We will also visit Manikaran Sahib before we return to our hotel at Manali.

Day 6: Manali – Chandigarh

Today, we start early from our hotel and drive to Chandigarh airport / railway station. The exciting tour comes to an end as you catch your flight/train back home.

Note: You can start/end this tour from Delhi as well. However, if you are coming from other parts of India, we recommend you to fly to Chandigarh airport instead of Delhi to avoid both air and road congestion.
