Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar

Welcome to the Paradise of Kashmir

Arrive at Srinagar Airport, where our representative will receive you and transfer you to your hotel. After check-in, spend the rest of the day exploring the beautiful city of Srinagar. Relax and prepare for an unforgettable journey into two of Kashmir's most remote and beautiful valleys.

Day 2: Srinagar - Razdan Pass - Gurez Valley

Journey into One of Kashmir's Hidden Valleys

After an early breakfast, begin the scenic drive towards Gurez Valley, one of the most untouched regions of Kashmir. The journey itself is spectacular as you pass Manasbal Lake, Wular Lake, and climb towards the breathtaking Razdan Pass, situated at over 11,000 ft above sea level.

Descending into the valley, the landscape changes dramatically as the beautiful Kishanganga River begins to accompany you. Upon reaching Dawar, the main town of Gurez Valley, check into your hotel and spend the evening enjoying the peaceful Himalayan surroundings.

Day 3: Explore Gurez Valley

Habba Khatoon, Tulail Valley & Kishanganga River

Spend the day discovering the breathtaking beauty of Gurez Valley. Visit the iconic Habba Khatoon Peak, named after Kashmir's legendary poetess, and explore the picturesque surroundings of the Kishanganga River.

Depending on road and weather conditions, continue towards the remote Tulail Valley, known for its traditional villages, alpine meadows and untouched Himalayan landscapes. Unlike the more popular destinations in Kashmir, Gurez offers a rare opportunity to experience nature in its purest form before returning to your hotel for the night.

Day 4: Gurez Valley - Keran Valley

From One Hidden Valley to Another

After breakfast, leave Gurez behind and drive towards the beautiful Keran Valley, another hidden gem located along the banks of the Kishanganga River near the Line of Control. The journey offers ever-changing mountain scenery, charming villages and dense forests that make the drive as memorable as the destination itself.

Upon arrival, check into your riverside hotel or homestay. Spend the evening relaxing by the river while enjoying magnificent views of the mountains and the villages across the border.

Day 5: Explore Keran Valley

Peaceful Villages Along the Kishanganga River

Today is dedicated to experiencing the tranquil charm of Keran Valley. Explore the beautiful riverside village, interact with friendly locals and enjoy leisurely walks along the banks of the Kishanganga River. The peaceful atmosphere, traditional wooden houses and spectacular mountain views make Keran one of Kashmir's most rewarding offbeat destinations.

Unlike crowded tourist towns, Keran allows you to slow down, unwind and truly appreciate the untouched beauty of the Himalayas.

Day 6: Keran Valley - Srinagar

Return Through Kashmir's Scenic Mountains

After breakfast, bid farewell to Keran Valley and begin your return journey to Srinagar. Enjoy the final views of the mountains and forests as you drive back through the beautiful Kashmir countryside.

Upon arrival, check into your hotel and spend the evening shopping for Kashmiri handicrafts, enjoying local cuisine or simply relaxing after an unforgettable offbeat adventure.

Day 7: Departure from Srinagar

Until Next Time, Kashmir

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Srinagar Airport for your onward journey, carrying unforgettable memories of the pristine valleys, towering mountains and warm hospitality of Kashmir's hidden gems.

Why Combine Keran & Gurez Valley in One Tour?

Although both Keran Valley and Gurez Valley lie along the beautiful Kishanganga River, they offer completely different experiences. Gurez Valley is known for its vast Himalayan landscapes, Habba Khatoon Peak, Tulail Valley and dramatic mountain scenery, while Keran Valley offers peaceful riverside villages, breathtaking views across the Line of Control (LoC) and a slower, more relaxed atmosphere.

By combining both destinations in a single itinerary, you experience the best of offbeat Kashmir without retracing your journey or feeling rushed. Spending two nights in each valley gives you enough time to appreciate their unique character, making this tour far more rewarding than simply visiting one valley as a day trip or overnight stop.

Best Time to Visit Keran & Gurez Valley

May to June is one of the best times to visit Keran Valley and Gurez Valley. The snow around Razdan Pass begins to melt, valleys turn lush green, and the pleasant weather makes sightseeing and road journeys extremely enjoyable.

September to October is another excellent season, offering crystal-clear mountain views, comfortable temperatures and vibrant autumn colours across the valleys. This is also considered one of the best times for photography.

July and August receive occasional rainfall, but the valleys remain beautiful and less crowded than other parts of Kashmir. Road conditions can vary depending on the weather.

November to April brings heavy snowfall to the region, and Razdan Pass may remain closed for extended periods, making access to Gurez Valley difficult or impossible. We generally recommend planning your trip between May and September for the best overall experience.
