Day 2: Vaishnodevi Darshan
It's a long day today. Get up early and prepare for Vaishnodevi Darshan. Firstly, visit the permit center to get the permit. Later, after breakfast, drive to the entry point. From here, you need to trek for 12 km. You also have an option of pony ride (either one way or both ways).
On reaching the top, you can make use of the locker services to keep your valuables and proceed towards darshan. After getting the blessings of Maa Vaishno Devi, it is time to trek back to the base.
By evening, reach the base. Back to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 3: Katra - Pahalgam
Today, checkout of hotel and drive to Pahalgam. In the evening, go for a short trek (or enjoy a pony ride at own cost) to visit Baisaran (also called Mini Switzerland). Enjoy the views and some fun activities before returning to Pahalgam. Later, check-in to a hotel and relax for rest of the day.
Day 4: Pahalgam - Srinagar
In the morning, checkout and go for an excursion to Aru Valley, Betab Valley and Chandanwadi (weather permitting) (by own cost). After enjoying the valleys around Pahalgam, it is time to say goodbye to the shepherd's valley. We will drive towards Srinagar and check in to houseboat. In the evening, you can go for Shikhara ride at Dal Lake and enjoy a beautiful sunset.
Day 5: Srinagar sightseeing
In the morning, checkout of houseboat and go for Srinagar sightseeing. Visit Dal Lake, Clock Tower, Sri Shankaracharya Temple, Nishat Garden, Mughal Garden. In the evening, checkin to a hotel and relax.
Day 6: Day Trip to Gulmarg
Today, go on a day excursion to Gulmarg. The experience at Gulmarg can vary depending on the season of your visit. During winters, it is a snow paradise, with wide variety of activities available to the visitors. While during other seasons, you will get to see the greenery of the region around Gulmarg. You can also go for a Gandola ride (cable car / ropeway) on your own cost (prior booking required & weather permitting). The ride has two phases, which the second phase taking you to the highest point of Gulmarg (some people do experience high altitude sickness and hence we request you to use your discretion before going to Phase-2). After an adventurous day at Gulmarg, drive back to Srinagar. (During winters, vehicle from Srinagar cannot go till Gulmarg due to heavy snow. We will drop you at a point until which the vehicles are allowed, and then you can take another shared vehicle to Gulmarg).
Day 7: Day Trip to Sonmarg
Excursion to Sonmarg is planned for today. The places covered during this day may vary during winter due to snow/weather. If weather is good, we will cover Thajiwas Glacier (trek for 5 kms or pony ride at own cost) and also go on a drive to Zero Point via Zojila Pass. Later, we will return to Srinagar.
Day 8: Srinagar/Jammu Departure
Today is the last day in this paradise on earth. After early breakfast, we will checkout from the hotel. We will drop you to Srinagar or Jammu airport / railway station from where you can take your flight/train back home.
