Itineary of Pelling Darjeeling Tour

Day 1: Siliguri – Darjeeling

The tour begins with arriving at Siliguri as we pick you up from New Jalpaiguri Railway Station, or Bagdogra airport. We will then go for a scenic drive to arrive at Darjeeling. Check-in to a hotel and relax. In the evening, explore the Darjeeling market.

Day 2: Darjeeling Sightseeing

Today is a hectic day as we start very early to witness the magical sunrise at Tiger Hill. On a clear day, you can view both Kanchenjunga and Mt Everest in one single frame as the first rays of sun falls on them. Perhaps this is the only place where you find the two mountains from one single place. Later, we will visit Batasia Loop and Ghoom Monastery. We will later go back to hotel to have breakfast. After a fantastic breakfast, we will go on a fun ride on toy train. Later we will visit Rock Garden, Tea Gardens and Peace Pagoda.

Day 3: Darjeeling – Namchi – Ravangla – Pelling

Today, we will bid adieu to Darjeeling, and head towards our next destination, Pelling in Sikkim. On the way, we will visit Char Dham Temple in Namchi, Samdruptse Hill, and the Buddha Park at Ravangla. In the evening, we will reach Pelling. Check-in to hotel/homestay and relax.

Day 4: Pelling

Today we will start our day by witnessing beautiful sunrise from the helipad. Later in the day, we will explore the beautiful places in and around Pelling. Kanchenjunga Falls, Kechopalri Lake, Rimbi Falls are some of the places that are covered today.

Day 5: Pelling – Gangtok

Today, we leave the beautiful Pelling, and move to the capital city Gangtok. On the way, we will visit Temi Tea Gardens. In the evening, we will explore the town of Gangtok.

Day 6: Gangtok – Tsongmo Lake – Nathula Pass – Gangtok

We will visit yet another high altitude destination today. Tsongmo Lake or Changu Lake is located at an altitude of 11000 ft above sea level. This beautiful lake looks different from different view points and cannot fail to impress with each view. Later, we will drive to Nathula Pass, which is located at 14000 ft above sea level. This pass is the trading border between India and China. You can go close to the border, and watch the gates of India and China. Later, we will drive back to Gangtok.

Day 7: Gangtok – Siliguri

Today is the last day of this trip. We will leave Gangtok and drop you to New Jalpaiguri railway station or Bagdogra airport. That brings an end to this awesome Sikkim Tour that you always wanted to take.
