Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Goa

Welcome to Goa. Today, we will pick you up from airport / railway station / bus stand and transfer you to hotel. After check-in and relaxing for some time, we will walk through the lanes of Fontainhas, the erstwhile Portuguese quarters. Enjoy the colourful buildings and cafes of Fontainhas, and after that, we will visit Dona Paula Beach. Later, we will watch a beautiful sunset from Miramar Beach, where you can also witness the River Mandovi joining Arabian Sea. Later you can also plan to go for a cruise on River Mandovi if you are interested. After a fun filled evening, we will drop you back to hotel.

Day 2: Old Goa – Diwar Island

Today, we will go on a very scenic drive along Mandovi River to go to Old Goa. Old Goa is popular for its churches. There are numerous churches in this region, some ruined and some still functional. The architecture of some of the churches is surely going to leave you astonished. After spending enough time at Old Goa, we will take a ferry to go to Diwar Island. The ferries are available only at selected times, so there may be some waiting period. Spend some time at Diwar Island before we take another ferry to go to Mayem Lake. Later we will drive through the villages of Goa and come back to our hotel.

Day 3: Beach Hopping

Trip to Goa is incomplete without beaches. Today, we will explore the various beaches of North Goa. We will start our day with Querim Beach which is at the Goa Maharastra border. Later we will visit Arambol Beach and go through various shops and beach-view cafes to reach Sweet Water Lake. After spending enough time here, we will alter move to Ashwem Beach. Later in the day we will visit Chapora Fort, more popularly known as Dil Chahta Hai fort. We will watch the beautiful sunset from Vagator Beach.

Day 4: Another day of Beaches and Forts

Today, we will start our day by visit Reis Magos Fort, a fort that offers amazing views of the beach and River Mandovi. The fort also has a museum which will introduce you to the rich culture and heritage of Goa. After that, we will go to Aguada Fort, another fort next to the beach. Later, we will drive to Aravalem Falls and Caves. The falls are magnificent during monsoon, and dries up during summer. However, the caves nearby can be visited at any time. It is believed that the Pandavas (from Mahabharata) had stayed here during their exile. Later, we will go to Anjuna Beach and have lunch in one of the small beach view cafe. In the evening, we will reach the most happening place of Goa, Baga / Calangute Beach. You can go for some water sports here. Spend some time at the beach shacks (shacks are closed during monsoon season). If you are interested, you can spend the last night in Goa by visiting some of the popular clubs here.

Day 5: Leave Goa

After fun filled four days, it is time to bid adieu to Goa. This trip to Goa comes to an end as we drop you to airport / railway station / bus stand.
